Agustina Figueras is an Italian-Argentinian Writer-Director. She studied filmmaking at the prestigious Cinema University’ (FUC) in Argentina. During her graduate course, she wrote and directed the short films Un vals a mil Tiempos that premiered at Mar del Plata International Film Festival in 2008 and Boleros (2009) competing at the Beijing Film Academy Film Festival.
In Argentina, she worked as a 2nd AD for various prestigious filmmakers such as Pablo Trapero (Carancho, White Elephant), Marcelo Piñeyro (Las viudas de los jueves) and Emmanuel Lubezki (Apple iPad Campaign)
In 2013 she moved to London, UK to do a Masters in screenwriting at the London College of Communication (UAL) and started working at Pinball London as Production Manager where she was part of various productions including Uncle Howard (2016, Sundance, Directed by Aaron Brookner) and On the Milky Road (2016, Venice, directed by Emir Kusturica). She is currently developing her 1st long feature film with Pinball London based on the short Bora Bora.
Actress and dancer, Anita starred two seasons of the children TV show ‘Veo Veo’ for the channel ‘Paka Paka’. She was part of the cast of ‘Herederos de una Venganza’, ‘Sres Papis’ & ‘Esperanza mia’ amongst other successful shows in Spanish speaking territories. She was a member of the Microteatro experience for four seasons. She has been part of the Cervantes National Theatre including ‘La sombra de Wenceslao’. She is currently starring in ‘GOL’ the first young audience TV series produced by Netflix in Latin America now about to start shooting season 2.
Paula Vaccaro is an award-winning British-Italian Creative Producer, Executive Producer and Screenwriter based in London since 2000. With more than two decades of experience, she has worked in TV, radio, newspapers, magazines and cinema both in Spanish and English speaking territories.
In 2009 she founded Pinball London, a production company specializing in films with an author stamp for international audiences releasing an average of a film per year with On the Milky Road (Venice Film Festival 2016), directed by Emir Kusturica and starring Monica Bellucci and Uncle Howard (Sundance, Berlinale directed by Aaron Brookner) some of the latest ones launched. In addition to Kusturica, with whom she had already worked producing the documentary Maradona (Cannes, 2008) and in the collective film Words with Gods (Venice 2014), her work stands out in productions with renowned filmmakers such as Sally Potter, Sara Driver, Jim Jarmusch, Guillermo Arriaga, Amos Gitai, Bahman Ghobadi, Warwick Thornton, Mira Nair, Hideo Nakata, Álex de la Iglesia and Héctor Babenco, and supporting a solid new generation of filmmakers including Aaron Brookner (Uncle Howard, Sundance 2016, Burroughs NYFF 2014), Edoardo de Angelis (Mozzarella Stories, Radical Eye: The Life and Times of Tina Modotti), Agustina Figueras (Escape to Bora Bora), Ana Rocha (Listen), Victoria Solano (9.70, Sumercé), Simon Hernandez and Simon Mejia (YUMA, Sonic River), In 2018 the company ventured into serialised content with Radical Eye: The Life and Times of TIna Modotti, a miniseries starring Monica Bellucci directed by award-winning helmer Edoardo de Angelis.
